Depending on the level of lesions, our Spring carbon springs are installed in lower leg and thigh orthoses as well as in hip orthoses. They compensate for the insufficient function of the plantar reflectors and underline the knee extensors with a stretching moment. The optimal function of the carbon spring is ensured by the Gottinger patented method of installation in a carbon prepreg frame. The carbon spring is embedded together with the carbon frame in a conventional cast laminate, the final orthosis has a separate cuff enclosing the lower leg and a foot sandal. In the dorsal area of the heel, a stop is installed, which serves for the defined limitation of the movement extent forward.
In addition to the basics of prepreg technology, in our seminar you will learn this construction method of carbon spring orthoses.
